My mother had spine surgery and dr has advised not to bend and pick up anything.
So I was looking for something she could use to pick up things without bending.
There are many accessories with pressing handles which seem easy to handle but the common negative review was the durability and that cable was breaking after use for few weeks.
When I saw this one, I felt there wouldnt be any durability issues since it was a straight forward model and hence got it for amma.
She has been using this for almost 2 months now and she is so happy with it. She has become an expert in using this to pick up all kinds of things from a fallen matchstick to even utensils!
I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking at such item!

I find this scissors-style grabber reacher tool as unique among the category and I am very happy I bought this before it ran out of stock! It allows very dexterous handling and I bought a second one to allow full manipulation with both hands. Helps easily reach behind washing machine, fridge, dishwashers, corners and easily pick out trash and move objects around. Also very useful in picking stuff out of higher shelves without having to extend ourselves with difficulty.
Should also be very useful for pregnant, injured or elderly folk who shouldn’t bend or jump or climb. Please bring this back in stock sellers!
