All the Hoyas I’ve ever bought from Little Jungle except for one have developed root rot & died. Two are hanging on by a thread. I’ve repotted them in a chunky orchid mix so that what’s left of their roots can breathe & dry out. (In the pics the root-sheathes have rotted off, leaving behind thin, dry, inanimate filaments that won’t absorb any water.)
Little Jungle tend to send their Hoyas in a sopping wet substrate that doesn’t dry out fast. Hoyas hate moist substrates that don’t dry out quickly.
I’ve conveyed my concerns to them multiple times, but to no avail. I’m afraid they don’t understand or respect their Hoya plants (or customers who have their Hoyas die on them through no fault of their own & within a week of purchase). Have lost about 2000 – 3000 rupees in the process.
Would *NOT* recommend buying Hoyas in general from them. Buy them from reputed nurseries that specialise in Hoyas. Plenty of them in West Bengal.

This is the second time I’m ordering from Little Jungle and I was not disappointed. I received a healthy looking plant. The box was very sturdy and I loved the print on it. Not a single leaf had been broken. Plus they sent me some epsom salts as well.
