We are using early foods products since 2019. We see early foods more like a blessing than a business. We will continue to buy them forever.
However, this time for the first time since 2019, we received a product that was packed in Oct 2022, which is so unlikely from early foods because they pack and deliver only once order is confirmed.
Nevertheless, the product is intact and no issues in flavour.
More power to Shalini and her amazing team.

It’s a very healthy product, not just for babies but adults too who are looking for a nutritional substitute to gluten and other refined grain containing mixes. It is very healthy and tasty but it would be much better if it contained sprouted grains or if the price was reduced. At rs 275 for 200g, it’s on the higher price range for its type of products. Other alternatives are Little Moppets Sathumaavu and First Solids by The Great Banyan. Little Moppets is even more expensive than this Early Foods Sathumaavu but it contains sprouted ingredients which are better absorbed by the body. The Great Banyan is a good alternative though it doesn’t taste as good as Early Foods. Try out all the brands and see what suits you best. I will be rotating between products.

Very heathy and tasty. Can be give to babies with milk after 8 months. Cooking instructions on the back of the pack. Reminded me of my baby days back in India. Traditional Indian nutritional breakfast meal.

Hi.. I am a mother of a one year old son who is a very fussy eater. It is so difficult to feed him something healthy. Came across this sathu maavu and my son loves the taste of it! He takes it as a porridge and I also tried making rava dosa out of it.. he simply loved it.. thank u Early foods!

I have been giving it to my son everyday (either for breakfast or lunch), pretty much happy with the ingredients going into his system. You have to keep stirring the mixture while on stove to avoid lumps. I wasted some part of it by leaving it on the stove for a couple of minutes. So keep stirring for 5mins and don’t add too much water else it will b too runny to feed your lil one. Overall the product is good.

It tastes bitter. Not sure if the product is freshly made as mentioned on pack.
Had to discard the whole pack.
Very disappointed.

A better substitute of protein than any whey protein
