May be the chosen variety of the water chestnuts are not great quality. But if you are familiar with water chestnuts, they are pretty tasty. And these ones are not of that quality. It tastes very bland and also not fresh. Overall you won’t get the feeling of fresh water chestnuts.
Btw, I am thinking of putting them into something and making it tasty, e.g. frying them or something else.

This product is top quality and has a long use before date.
It’s as crunchy as could be, and totally genuine as it’s imported from China.
I had to slice the whole water chestnuts for the recipe I was cooking as 鸡肉和竹笋配腰果 requires slices, not whole water chestnuts.
The packaging was perfect too!
I shall order these again, and recommend them to anyone who enjoys genuinely Chinese cuisine.

I have 100/100 to this product, simply go for it
