Product seems good by appearance. However it does not seem to very freshly procured item. Nothing wrong in a major way but its taste gives a hint of either it being slightly old stock or an inferior quality. Please note that I have rebought this item from them after a very long gap of time.

I use walnut as a routine as part of breakfast. Normally buy it in shell from a store and take out kernels once a week. Had exhausted supplies about 20 days back. As local store had closed about 45 days back and efforts to procure from alternate sources failed, tried Amazon, normally used for procuring durable consumables by us. The order was placed in the beginning of March 20. Date can be checked from records
On receipt of the supply on May 5, 2020, one packet was opened. It smelt stale. All the same, a fistful was cleaned in running water and soaked overnight for use in morning breakfast. It was consumed in the morning of May 6, but tasted slightly foul. Towards the late afternoon I had stomach upset, getting worse by night on account of lot of throwing up till the morning of May 7. Spent two days on fluids and semi fluids to fully recover. As I had some fresh fruit also, I could not pinpoint the culprit for the malaise. Today morning had smaller helping of similarly soaked walnut. No fresh fruits since May 6. I have again developed upset tummy despite still on light diet.
This establishes that the problem I faced was due to the bad condition of walnut consumed by me. It appears the lot was stored in some transit warehouse for compliance of the order, for about 20 days leading to the deterioration of the product., as seen from the tracking record.
Although the item falls in the non-returnable category, reasonable care was not taken to store it properly, being a semi perishable product. As such it warrants return and refund of the amount paid at the time of booking the order.
Request the matter to be examined on merits, return of the item and refund arranged.

I just received this product. After opening the packaging seal I just start to write down my review regarding this product….
Well, little bit satisfactory product quality but 2 problem I have been noticing is that 1) Walnuts are broken into very small tiny size pices. Although, Very Good Quality product but sizes is too much smaller than expectations….
2) One of 3 Walnuts Packet is not Air tighten. Rest 2 are absolutely Ok Condition and appropriately Air tighten….
Rest is absolutely good and satisfactory and Price is also reasonable compared to local market prices…
Overall I will give 4 Star from my side to this product….

I had high ‘bad’ cholesterol. Someone suggested me to take a spoon full walnuts every day. I took for like 3 months and i can say without changing anything else in my diet and exercise i could see that cholesterol get fixed within next 3-4 months.
I have been eating this very brand of walnuts from over 2 years!!, they are broken, perfect for picking spoonful in morning. They used to ship directly from Jammu before, not amazon got them in their warehouse due to this demand. Same quality from 2 years.
This is the cheapest out there, roughly 750/- kg. Best value for money.
Never have had any complaint for packing, quality of anything else.

Price might be ok, but still not worth eating. After all people buy these for better nutrition, but with poor quality, the purpose is lost, so, would be better to go for good quality rather than this.
