We had snakes in the locality so ordered this tool online.
Unfortunately it does not come with a manual so we were left at sea about how to use it , specially how to extend its length (we still have not been able to figure it out).
It is quite sturdy but also quite heavy and not easy to use because of that.
The grip is good and soft enough not to damage the animal.
A good tool but useless for me.

I bought this product for our society office on 18th May 2024.
A week later, we spotted a snake in rain and tried to catch it using this product, it didn’t work. Snake slipped thrice, and moved to the garden area. We thought, may be due to rain water and wet skin, product was ineffective.
Today few minutes before, a 3 feet snake was spotted in our premises. Tried this product, same repeated. Snake slipped almost four times. Even though it was sunny day & this product was at its smallest length, it didn’t work.
I didn’t find it a good product, highly unreliable.
Requesting Amazon to arrange for the return of the product and refund.

Very sturdy. Easy to operate. Though I did not use yet to catch a snake 🐍. still believes that it will give a better result. Looks great. price is little bit higher end.
After a long time (8 aug2023) till now we already 5-6 snakes, it’s very very helpful. No problem at all while using. We catched all the poisonous snake 🐍 length of 4ft long approx.

I bought for my mother as she has a medical condition and doctors asked not bend. However, she continued to bend. So i decided to let her routine be supported by this device to pick small things like hand towel or a spoon or fork or cutlery that drops gets picked up, also, she moves around the garden to pick flowers, fruits, spices and herbs and to reach some of the plants/trees/branches, she struggles with makeshift twings and hooks. Using this was uncomfortable as it is very heavy. Perhaps, it is not really made for the purpose I am putting to. We had chinese made contraptions for last 12-15 yrs and they were all polymers. Some kids at home broke them.
The ratings are low because ease of use is not comfortable even for me and its sturdiness may be the only quality pitted against cost and material. Expensive, but not light enough for that cost. It is not even very easy to operate. A little cumbersome.
