- A half hardy annual for incredibly vibrant displays of bicolour flowers that last through most of the summer. Loved by butterflies, bees and other beneficial insects and easy to grow for borders and cutting.
- GROWING INSTRUCTIONS: Sow thinly, outdoors, May-June, 0.5cm (¼”) deep, in rows or circular drills, 25cm (10”) apart. Keep moist. Thin (prick out) to 30cm (12”) apart, when seedlings are large enough to handle. Or, indoors, late March-early May, 0.5cm (¼”) deep, into individual pots or trays with separate cells, putting two seeds into each pot or cell. Harden off before planting out in June, spacing 30cm (12”) apart. Disturb the roots as little as possible. Flowers: July to October.
- Remove dead heads to prolong the flowering season.
