In the first 10 minutes of cutting Bougainville stems (5 – 8 mm thick) this shear lived up to its name and sheared in half. The locking mechanism was very unreliable too. Totally useless product!

I bought this for my son who likes to garden. The blades are sharp and it is ergonomically friendly. Cuts up to 8-12 mm of round wood depending on hardness. He is happy with it and no complaints. I would get the bright color as if you misplace it it is easier to find.

My old cutters were getting to the point where they was just that old. They still cut pretty good but the lock broke and the blade was getting dull. These new trimmers fit nicely in hand and operate with ease. I give them 5 full stars and have no complaints about anything. Thanks for a very good product.

These pruners replaced my old pair, decades old, German made, high quality ergonomically designed. These are similar in that they have good design features and cut 3/4″ branches fairly well but that’s about the max size you can cut. They are good value for the price. My only comment for the user is that they’re made for a smaller hand, but still, totally useable as is for home gardens.
