Very sharp,I have easily cut Jackfruit tree and Mango tree branches upto 11/2 inches in diameter . Long easy to grip handles provide sufficient leverage to cut the branches with minimal effort. Worth every Rupee I paid for it.
JobyThomas –
The cutting edge is not smooth. At times the branch cracks.

Lopper was delivered in time. Blade is sharp.(being a lopper it has only one cutting blade,so the blade goes through the entire cross section of the branch.) Overall build quality is good. I used it to prune overhead branches of Seemakonna tree(Gliricidia sepium) and it worked nicely. Pruning Hibiscus bushes on the hedge was easier.. Cuts are neat. Most of the time i use it with the handles extended. When you cut overhead branches they may come down vertically rather than slanting. So wearing eye protection is a good idea. One thing i like that It is way safer than the traditional Kavathukathi (Locally made heavy pruning knife). Only minus point is that it is slightly heavy ,but you can live with it given its sturdiness and performance. Five stars.

I was sceptical about buying this, due to its high price, as there were cheaper products available. By then I had already purchased another product from them and decided to give it a try.
I wanted the telescopic handle as I felt the other products with handles at a fixed length would greatly hamper the usability of the product.
I received a beautiful product, in orange and grey colour combination. I have used it from few cuttings, trimming bamboo is now very easy.
Hopefully this product is as durable as it looks.
Definitely a product you can buy.
This is an instrument for chopping branches (up to around 4cms- that can be really hard- around 1-1.5inch should be fine) and not for trimming leaves.
Thanks
